I just had my first alcohol-free beer in Yokohama. Yes, 100% ALCOHOL-FREE BEER! Apparently it’s the world’s first and was released in Japan last month. Why, you ask? Well I guess sometimes you might want a beer but don’t want the buzz that comes with it. Say, after a round of golf, you might want a cold frosty before you get behind the wheel. Or maybe you just love the taste of beer to go with your lunch but don’t wanna get all lit up afterwards. I guess Kirin Free is your answer. But honestly I’m not so fond of the taste. It kinda made me throw up a little bit in my mouth just now. But who knows? Try it out, maybe you’ll like it. Just think of it as a beer-flavoured soda!
