I picked up a remarkable Mandarin jazz album when I was in Hong Kong last Sunday. The entire album is composed of jazz remakes of popular Mandarin songs. It’s the very first Japan made HQCD launched out of Japan. And notably recorded in a single take with top-notch equipment. Of course, you won’t be able to hear the difference here, but audiophiles really shouldn’t miss this High-Quality CD.
