Just got my hands on the Fujitsu LifeBook U2010. It’s arguably the most functional UMPC in the market today. Pretty impressive specs for a device this small. But unless you have specific purposes for its convertible touchscreen, fingerprint sensor or integrated GPS (without which I wouldn’t have bought it), you’re probably better off with a comparative netbook (minus these goodies of course) that’s easily 2-3 times cheaper. Not everyone needs GPS or biometrics anyway. And this baby is definitely not for the average user or everyday use. The keyboard is too big for your thumbs input, but too cramped for your fingers to type comfortably on. I still prefer OQO’s (the godfather of UMPC) slide-out design. Oh yeah, where the hell is Model 03?!
